Jasper James: People and Places
Jasper James (which is an awesome name, by the way) is an international photographer with clients that include the likes of Vanity Fair and Volvo. We are loving his ‘People and Places’ series; the juxtaposition of silhouette and city creates brilliant images.

Black and White (and Strange)
How funny is this photoblog? ’Black and WTF’ is a collection of hilarious (and strange) old black and white photos. Does your family have funny vintage photos? Ours does.

Elliott Erwitt: Personal Best

Images via ICP
Photographer and filmmaker Elliott Erwitt is the most recent recipient of the ICP Infinity Award for Lifetime Achievement. Now through August 28th his work is on display (in New York City) at the International Center of Photography exhibit titled Elliott Erwitt: Personal Best.
Erwitt is a master of the “decisive moment”. His photographs illuminate familiar scenarios with comedic surprises. Often his images retain such depth that they require repeated glances. But in addition to his jocose images, Erwitt has also captured the momentary essence of Marilyn Monroe, Jacqueline Kennedy, and the like.
He is undoubtedly one of our favorites.
Tip: Twigs & Honey
Did you (or will you) wear a veil or hair adornment? Myra Callan of Twigs & Honey creates the loveliest hair pieces for bridal and everyday occasions. We adore her double layer teardrop veil; it reminds us of an updated version of Elaine Robinson’s veil in The Graduate.
